Book Discussion: Literature & Food

Join us for a rousing presentation and discussion of Mark Kurlansky's Choice Cuts, a wide-ranging anthology of writing about food.  Presented by Dr. Cheryl Hindrichs, assistant professor of English at BSU and co-chair of the Main Library's Literature for Lunch series.

Boise Public Library and The Rediscovered Bookshop are pleased to host an author visit and book signing with best-selling author J.A. Jance! She will be in Boise to promote her newest book, Queen of the Night, published by Harper-Collins and scheduled for release in late July. More

 

Adult Computer Classes

The Main Library (Downtown) offers free computer classes for adults September through May, covering basic computer skills, email, Internet searches and special topics.  Classes are held on the first floor in the Gates Computer Lab. More
