The Library! at Hillcrest offers a series of events and programs dedicated to exploring the rich palette of cultures that creates the wondrous colors of the Boise Bench community. We call it Worlds Connect—a Celebration of Cultures.

The first Worlds Connect program began in spring 2009 with the Library's Get Loud at the Library event. The program brought together artists and craftspeople representing many of the cultures that make up our community. Due to the success of the program, the Library staff and community representatives formed a council dedicated to provide a greater understanding of the diverse and vibrant cultures of the Boise Bench community.
