As part of the Worlds Connect series, the Library! at Hillcrest presents Afghanistan: The Culture of Conflict on Thursday, October 15, 7:00 PM.

Panel moderator Yasmin Aguilar, of the Agency for New Americans, is a refugee from Afghanistan. She will provide an overview and moderate the panel discussion. Panelists will speak about their culture, religion, and art, as well as their experiences of the conflict that rages in Afghanistan. Samples of traditional Afghani food will also be served.

This free program is one of a series of programs for adults offered at the Library! at Hillcrest. No registration is required.
