Types of Library Positions

If you like helping people and enjoy books and research, library work could be just what you’re looking for.  Librarians, library assistants, pages, and circulation department specialists all work directly with the public.  Because the library is open several evenings and on weekends, work schedules are usually very different from traditional eight-to-five jobs.
