Interlibrary Loan Information

Interlibrary loans requested through Boise Public Library using the online form must be picked up and returned to a Boise Public Library location.  Please select your preferred pick up and return location below

All Treasure Valley consortium libraries provide interlibrary loan service.  If you prefer using another library for interlibrary loan service, please contact them directly.

Also note the following:

  • We cannot borrow current year copyrighted titles.  Please use our purchase suggestion form for current year copyrights.
  • There is a limit of three interlibrary loan requests per card per week.
  • Items requested usually take a minimum of 14 Days to arrive.
  • You will be notified when your interlibrary loan is available and it will be held for you for 10 days at your preferred pickup location.
  • Due dates are given and renewals granted by the lending libraries.  Contact the Boise Public Library interlibrary loan desk at 384-4078 or 562-4022 with questions or renewal requests.
