Need multiple copies of titles for your book club? 

The Boise Public Library provides a service tailored to book clubs.  We've been saving books we receive as gifts, and we now have many suitable titles. 

Browse the Books Available

• Browse a list by author or a list by titles to see how many copies we have of a particular title.
• The list is updated weekly as more books arrive.

Extended Checkout Period

• Checkout time is six weeks--two weeks longer than regular checkout.
• Due to high demand titles may not be renewed at the end of the six weeks.
• Regular fines apply if the books are not returned on time.

Convenient Pick-up and Return

• All of the books are checked out on the responsible individual's library card.
• The card must be from a consortium library: Ada, Boise, Caldwell, Eagle, Garden City, Meridian or Nampa.
• Books may be picked up at the participating library of his or her choice.
• Books may be returned as a set or by individual members to the most convenient consortium library location.

How to Reserve a Title for Your Book Club

1. Look at our list of titles:
   • online at Boise Public Library's website
   • or ask at the First Floor Information Desk at the downtown library

    

2. Fill out the request form or e-mail bookclubs@cityofboise.org.

    

3. Pick up all copies at once at the checkout counter at the location you specified
   • Keep the books for six weeks
   • Return copies to the most convenient consortium library location
