Overdue fees
- How to renew an item
The following chart shows the length of time items
may be checked out, how many of a particular type of item can be
checked out at one time, which types of items can be renewed, and how often they can be renewed.
It also shows the fine rates, and grace period. Please note that items which
have been reserved (placed
on hold) by other customers cannot be renewed.
Customer accounts are blocked from renewing items if there
are fines of $10.00 or more on the account, if the library card
has been reported lost or stolen or is expired, or if there is
information in the account that requires updating. If your
account is blocked or your items are overdue, visit or call
one of our locations
during regular business hours and a staff member will assist you.

How to renew an item
Overdue Fees
If you have an overdue fee to pay, bring in
the item and your library card. You will be asked to pay the
fee at that time. You may pay by cash, check, money order or
debit or credit card. If the item has already been returned,
you may mail a check, call in your credit card, or come in
to any of the libraries in the
LYNX! Consortium to pay your
overdue fees.
