11:20 - 12:10 a.m. Idaho Theater for Youth performance of Tomás and the Library Lady By José Cruz Gonzáles, music and lyrics by José Cruz González, musical arrangements by Adam Jacobsen. Take a bilingual journey and meet Tomásm, who knows all Papa Grande's stories by heart! He hears them every night on the long trek from Texas to Iowa where the family will spend the summer picking crops. But his young life changes forever when he meets someone very special at the local Carnegie Library. Based on the book by Pat Mora, it's the true story of Tomás Rivera, who began his life as a migrant worker and became a university chancellor. Tomas and the Library Lady celebrates friendship, the love of family and the wonder of reading.
