New
Americans and English Language Learners can learn English through a new
special storytime. Participants will enjoy: reading picture books,
counting, learning new words, singing and dancing to music, and learning
with toys. All programs will be in simple English. The storytimes are
for preschool age children for whom English is a second language and
their parents or caregivers. The storytimes will be designed
specifically to meet the needs of this growing population and will
provide participants with opportunities to begin to develop and improve
English language skills.
Sponsored by a grant from the Idaho Commission for Libraries and Walmart.
