Prizes
Summer reading programs are
important in helping students maintain and improve reading skills over
the summer. But, we hope all ages will read for the fun of it - plus the
great prizes!
To beef up the reading fun factor, local organizations support
library Summer Reading by donating a variety of prizes. Every child or teen who
reaches reading goals
in a Treasure Valley Library
Summer Reading Program (including Boise Public Library's) gets a
free pass from the Boise Hawks Baseball Club, the Snake River Stampede Rodeo,
and the Discovery Center of Idaho; and various other prizes.
In addition, Boise Public Library Summer Reading participants qualify
for entry into prize drawings, sponsored by the Friends of Boise Public
Library, Flying Pie Pizzaria, and
others.
