Teen Summer Reading - Boise Public Library
Teen Summer Reading 2010

STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Read or listen to any book, magazine, etc., and keep track of your time. For every 3 hours of reading you complete, fill out one level. Return entry forms to the Youth Services desk at the Main Library, Library! at Cole & Ustick, Library! at Collister, Library! at Hillcrest, or the Bookmobile. Or complete the online form.

You will receive prizes for each of the first 3 levels.
All entries will be entered into the prize drawings.
All prizes must be claimed by August 14, 2010.

RULES:

  • Only books you read between June 1 and July 31 count.
  • This program is open to readers 12-17 years old.
  • You must be a Boise City resident with a public library card.
  • All entries will go towards the drawings for one of several $30 gift certificates.

BONUS CHALLENGES:

To earn extra chances for prize drawings, complete the following challenges:
Each completed challenge earns 1 additional drawing entry.

  • Read a book from a genre you don’t normally read.

  • Design a new cover for your favorite book.

  • Download an audio book or check out a book on CD and listen to it.

  • Draw a picture of your favorite character.

  • Write a review of your favorite book.

  • Check out and listen to a CD from an artist you’ve never listened to before.

  • Attend a teen program at your library.

Complete the online form for one or more challenges.
