As part of the Worlds Connect series, the Library! at Hillcrest presents China: Changing Times in an Ancient Culture - Chinese Immigrants Speak on Thursday, February 18, 7:00 PM.

China is a dominant world power experiencing great change, but the art and culture of ancient China endures. 

This will be an evening filled with music and dance and the voices of Chinese immigrants as they discuss the tremendous changes in China, contrasted against the enduring ancient Chinese culture. We will begin with a Chinese children’s dance, followed by a slide show, and then a panel discussion with Chinese immigrants. Panelists will share artifacts and discuss their religion, medicine, and arts. The program will conclude with more dancing. 

This free program is one of a series of programs for adults offered at the Library! at Hillcrest. No registration is required.
