All programs are approximately 30 minutes in length unless otherwise noted.

School-Age Programs

Thursdays 4 - 5pm
Hayes Auditorium

First Thursday of each month: Wii and Board Games
Second Thursday of each month: Craft Fun
Third Thursday of each month: Book Club for 4th -6th grades
Fourth Thursday of each month: Book Club for 1st - 3rd grades
Fifth Thursday of each month: Surprise!

Generally held the 1st consecutive Friday & Saturday each month at the Main Library in the Hayes Auditorium.  Information about the next show.

Read to a Therapy Dog!

  • Saturday, September 20, 2 - 3 p.m.- Rocky
  • Saturday, October 18, 2 - 3 p.m.- Toby
  • Saturday, November 15, 2 - 3 p.m.- Molly
  • Saturday, December 20, 2 - 3 p.m.- Rocky

Held in the Hayes Auditorium.

Meet a certified therapy dog!  Therapy dogs visit the library each month to meet children and encourage them to read aloud. School age children and other dog people are welcome, no registration required. 
Sessions rotate between Toby (the Border Collie), Molly (the Basset Hound), Rocky (Golden Retriever), and Lucky (Portuguese Water Dog).
