Library Foundation Elects New Officers

(Boise, Idaho – 2/10/11)  The Boise Public Library Foundation announced the 2011 slate of officers at its annual meeting on January 11.  Bev Harad was elected Chair of the Foundation Board of Directors; Tonya Westenskow was elected Vice Chair; and Susan Grey was elected Secretary/Treasurer.  All were elected for a one-year term.

Boise Public Library Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation that benefits the Boise Public Library.  The Foundation was formed in 1985 to attract substantial support from contributions, directly or indirectly, from persons within and outside the community.

Foundation Board members work to encourage contributions from local corporations and individuals through gifts to the Library and by sponsoring various fundraising events.  Funds raised through the Foundation are used exclusively for the benefit of Boise Public Library and are not part of the city budget.
