Presentations & Tours

All adult community groups and school groups, 7th grade and up, are encouraged to contact Adult Services prior to visiting the Library. Younger age groups should contact Youth Services.

Please note that priority will be given to requests from public and private schools physically located within the Boise city limits and Boise Area of Impact.

Arrange a Visit or Presentation

To make your visit more productive we offer:

Tours
Research presentations focused on specific topics, such as school projects, business planning, investments, consumer topics, Idaho history, etc.
Database and Internet searching skills
Presentations customized to your class topic or assignment. Schools please take advantage of our Assignment Alert service!
Library cards prepared for your entire group, if they are Boise City residents

We can also:

Schedule the Gates Computer Lab for your group's exclusive use during your visit.
Provide a presentation at your location.
Create a list of materials, databases and Websites or set aside selected materials for your class project.
Attend your staff meetings to share library resource information.
