Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Sessions

Boise Public Library and the Boise State University Department of Accountancy are partnering again this year on Wednesday afternoons, February 1-April 12, to offer free income tax return preparation assistance  through the IRS VITA program for people earning up to $62,000.

Those who don't need assistance and earn up to $62,000 can use the free tax preparation site unitedway.org/myfreetaxes.

How do I get tax forms?

  • You may print forms from the Internet at no cost using the Research & Catalog computer on the 2nd floor at the Main Library. Check with library staff at branch locations.
  • You are welcome to use Library computers to complete and file your taxes online.
  • WiFi is also available for use with your own devices.
