How Your Purchases Benefit the Library

EacFriendsLogo.pngh year, the Friends organization raises more than $200,000 through book sales and Tree City Books to benefit the Library. In the last decade, funds raised by the Friends helped purchase opening-day collections for the Collister, Hillcrest and Cole & Ustick libraries, and helped purchase property for the Bown Crossing library.

The Friends also support many special programs and projects that the Library could not offer otherwise, ranging from Summer Reading and the Boise Comic Arts Festival (formerly ComicCon) to purchasing furniture for reading areas and new 3D printers.
