Boise Residents Holding Events at the Main Library
Are you interested in holding classes or events at the Main Library to share your knowledge and passion with your fellow Boiseans? Contact the Main Library at 208-972-8255 to reserve a meeting space for your event and let us know if you’d like your event considered for inclusion on the Library’s Classes & Events calendar and for other promotion by the Library through that process.
Traveling Authors and Performers
Boise Public Library welcomes program proposals and recommendations from visiting authors and performers. Proposals are evaluated based on how the program supports the Library's mission (see below), the potential interest and benefit to Boiseans, the availability of meeting rooms, and the contribution to the Library’s overall schedule of events. If your proposal meets the above criteria, use the form below to submit a program proposal to Boise Public Library. We receive hundreds of suggestions for programs, so we're not able to respond to each submission. However, if we choose to take the next step with your proposed program, we'll be in touch.
Mission
The Boise Public Library improves community members' quality of life by supporting their efforts to enhance knowledge, realize creative potential, and share ideas and stories.
