Hazel Newlevant

Hazel Newlevant
Hazel Newlevant is a Portland-raised, Queens-residing cartoonist. Their comics include Ci Vediamo, If This Be Sin, and Sugar Town. Their work has been honored with the Xeric Grant, the Prism Comics Queer Press Grant, and the Ignatz Award. They are the co-editor and publisher of the anthologies Chainmail Bikini: The Anthology of Women Gamers and Comics for Choice. Lion Forge will publish their debut full-length graphic novel, No Ivy League, in 2019.

Russell Brown

Russell Brown
Russell Brown is a concept artist and illustrator living in Emmett, Idaho. He studied animation art and design at The Art Institute of Seattle and made is comic book debut as the artist for the graphic novel, The Killing Jar. Currently, he works as an illustrator and character designer at Dragonmonkey Media and is drawing the comic series, The 27 Run.

Matthew Seely

Matthew Seely
Matthew Seely is a freelance animator, illustrator and comic artist from Portland, Oregon. He illustrated the Oni Press graphic novel Dead Weight: Murder at Camp Bloom (April 2018), and has worked with ShadowMachine as Segment Director on Dancing in the Dark for season two of MTV’s Greatest Party Story Ever. Seely has created multiple independent animated shorts including These Pancakes Are Tiny, and has also written, drawn and self-published comics including Margaret and Robo-Boy vs. Boybot. In his free time, Seely enjoys playing music, listening to podcasts, and eating peanut butter and banana sandwiches.

Terry Blas
Terry Blas is the illustrator/writer behind the comics Ghetto Swirl and You Say Latino. His work has appeared on covers and in issues of Rick and Morty, The Amazing World of Gumball and Adventure Time. He is the co-writer of a fat camp murder mystery titled: Dead Weight: Murder at Camp Bloom, published by Oni Press. His next book, Hotel Dare is a world-hopping, Mexican themed fantasy, to be published in April 2019.

Rosemary Valero-O’Connell

Rosemary Valero-O'Connell
Rosemary Valero-O'Connell is a Minneapolis born, Zaragoza raised cartoonist and illustrator with a BFA in Comic Art from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. She's done work for clients including DC Comics, BOOM! Studios, CAPY Games, Mondo Tees, and Kazoo magazine, among others. Her work has been shown in galleries both locally and internationally, and she's currently working on a graphic novel with award-winning author Mariko Tamaki, to be published in 2019 with First Second.

Katie Skelly is a cartoonist, illustrator, and comics critic based in Brooklyn, New York. You may know her from titles like Nurse Nurse (Sparkplug, 2012), Operation Margarine (AdHouse Books, 2014) or My Pretty Vampire (Fantagraphics, 2017). Wook Jin Clark is a cartoonist and illustrator hailing from the Southern states of South Carolina and Georgia, and now resides in Portland, Oregon. He's done licensed work for BOOM! including YA comics such as Adventure TimeRegular ShowThe Not-So-Secret Society, and Bee and Puppycat. Kyle Starks
Kyle Starks has been writing and occasionally illustrating Oni Press RICK AND MORTY for the last year and is slated to be the ongoing writer for a long time coming. He is an Eisner Nominated comic creator who is recently finished up the critically acclaimed ROCK CANDY MOUNTAIN from Image Comics.  His other work includes the Eisner nominated SEXCASTLE from Image Comics (which was optioned for film by the Russo Brothers), KILL THEM ALL (Oni Press) and DEAD OF WINTER (Oni Press).  Kyle has also contributed to UNBEATABLE SQUIRREL GIRL, INVADER ZIM and more.

Alejandra Gutiérrez
Alejandra Gutiérrez was born in 1994 in Cartagena, Colombia. She now lives in Portland, Oregon with a man who buys her limes. Jorge Corona is a Venezuelan writer, illustrator, and sequential artist. He was the winner of the 2015 Russ Manning Award and has worked with publishing companies such as DC Comics, Image Comics, Kodansha Comics, and Boom! Entertainment. Justin Zimmerman
Justin Zimmerman, MFA in Film, is a nationally recognized writer, filmmaker and professor. His narrative and documentary work has appeared in film festivals across the globe and has been broadcast on national public television, where he won two international television awards. Jason Shiga
Jason Shiga was born and raised in Oakland, California. He has been drawing comics since 1996. His comics have a geeky side, and often feature exciting uses of math. Many of his comics are interactive and require the reader to make choices to move the story along. In his fifteen-year career, Shiga has created 5 graphic novels, 20 comics books, over a dozen magazines and newspaper strips and the world’s second largest interactive comic. Although his works range from strips to graphic novels he is best known for his love of unusual structural forms.
