Computer Appointments

Limited computer access is available by appointment at the following locations: 

Main Library from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday to Friday and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday
Library! at Cole & Ustick from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday to Saturday
Library! at Hillcrest from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday to Saturday

At each location, library staff will wear masks and gloves and practice social distancing.  Equipment will be cleaned between each 45-minute session.

If a customer doesn’t have an appointment, will they be able to access the computers at the library? 
MaybeCustomers who make an appointment will be allowed access to the computer lab first. If a computer session isn’t full, a limited number of walk-ins will be accepted, based on available space, on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage customers interested in using the computer lab to make an appointment in order to guarantee a spot. 

Where are the computers located in the library? 
The public access computers are located in the Youth Services area at the Main Library, in the Sagebrush Room at the Library! at Cole & Ustick, and in the Teton Room at the Library! at Hillcrest.   

How will customers enter the building for their appointments? 
Customers who have an appointment will need to wait outside the building until a staff member calls their name and allows them access at the time of their appointment. For each location, customers should wait at the following locations:

  • Main Library –The door on the south side of the building, closest to the Greenbelt
  • Library! at Cole & Ustick – The south side of the building at the door to the Sagebrush Room
  • Library! at Hillcrest – The front doors to the building

How long will each computer session last? 
Each session will be 45 minutes long. 

What precautions are library staff taking to protect against COVID-19? 
Library staff will wear masks and gloves at all times and will clean each computer station between each session. 

How many appointments can a customer make per day? 
Customers can use one computer appointment per day. 

Will customers be required to wear masks? 
Yes. Masks must be worn at all times by both staff and customers. 

Will protective equipment be provided? 
Yes, for those who don’t have their own protective equipment, a mask will be provided free of charge. Gloves will be provided upon request.

Will customers need to have a library card in order to access the computers? 
No, a library card is not required to access the computers. 

Are printing and scanning available? 
Both printing and scanning will be available free of charge up to 10 pages per day.

Will computer access be filtered or non-filtered?  
At this time, all access will be filtered.
