Homebound Services

Library staff regularly take library materials to homebound persons in retirement communities, public housing, and individual residences in Boise. At this time, contactless delivery is an option.

This service is provided without charge to residents of Boise who are physically unable to come to a Boise Public Library facility. To find out whether you, a friend or family member are eligible, call 208-972-8213 (TDD/TTY 1-800-377-3529) to speak with a library staff member.

Once you are signed up, our Homebound Services team will give you a call to discuss your reading, listening and viewing preferences in order to plan future selections. Subsequent requests are made through mail, email, phone call, or during the visit.

If you already know you are eligible for Homebound Services, please complete the online form below. Prefer a paper form? Download the Homebound Services form here.
