We use this form for requests to purchase specific materials, and for interlibrary loan requests. Library staff will review your request and determine the best method to fill it. Staff are also available to help you find similar topics of interest within our collection through our Recommendations Service.
About Your Request
Please keep in mind -
- Requests are limited to Boise Public Library cardholders. If you have a card from another Lynx Consortium library, please direct your request to your home library. Or if you are a Boise resident, sign up for a library card.
- Due to the high volume of requests, cardholders are limited to one request per week. Our request cycle runs from Saturday to Friday.
- Not all requests can be fulfilled. Please refer to the Request an Item Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for common reasons why this may be the case.
- There's no need to request newly published popular/bestselling items; they're ordered automatically, and they appear in the catalog approximately one month before the publication date. Please keep an eye on the catalog to add your name to the holds list.
