Besides these online resources, access to a wide variety of local publications is available on the 3rd floor of the Main Library. You may make copies of articles for personal use for 10¢ per page. Scanning is also available in that area.
Idaho Collection
The Idaho Collection is housed in the Marge Ewing Idaho Room on the third floor of the Main Library. The collection includes nonfiction books and documents by Idaho authors or pertaining to Idaho; a clipping file of Idaho news; sound recordings by Boise-area musicians; Boise City directories; and numerous historic Idaho maps. Items in the collection must be used on premise, and are not checked out. Please check with staff or email Ask a Librarian to make an appointment to use the room.
